The Sensirion environmental Sensor Node is intended for use in indoor air quality applications. The SEN50 Environment Node is part of the SEN5x family and provides an intuitive sensor solution platform for accurate measurement of particulate matter. In addition to particulate matter, the device can also detect other environmental parameters such as VOCs, NOx, humidity and temperature. The Sensirion algorithm can be directly integrated into a variety of applications. The engine implemented is called the Sensirion Temperature Accelerator (STAR) and accelerates the device's response to ambient temperature changes through a Source: Sensirion AG factor 2-3.
This, together with the temperature compensation engine, provides a better user experience and more accurate measurements for the end user.
