The Texas Instruments LM6X4XX-Q1 step-down voltage regulators are automotive regulators. These regulators operate in a wide input voltage range of 3V to 36V and have transient tolerances of up to 42V. The output voltage is fixed or adjustable, and can be set from 1V to 95% of the expected input voltage.
The device includes pin selectable spread spectrum and adjustable SW node rise time. The DRSS frequency hopping is set to ±4% (typical value) to significantly reduce peak emission through a combination of triangulation and pseudo-random modulation, and advanced techniques are used to reduce output voltage ripple caused by spread spectrum modulation. And the series is suitable for low EMI.
Open drain RESET output, with filtering and delayed release, provides a true indication of system status. In automatic mode, the device automatically switches between FPWM and PFM modes, providing 5µA(typical) load current consumption. Electrical characteristics are specified in the junction temperature range of -40 ℃ to +150℃.
