The Texas instruments TPS16530 58V 4.5a fuse is an easy-to-use, positive fuse with the 31mOhm integrated FET, now available from Mouser. The protection of load, power supply and eFuse itself provides adjustable functions such as precise overcurrent protection, fast short circuit protection, output conversion rate control and undervoltage locking. PGOOD can be used to enable and disable control of downstream DC-DC converters.
Enable pins provide external control for enabling and disabling internal FETs. Shutdown pin can put the device in low power shutdown mode. The device provides fault and accurate current monitoring outputs for system condition monitoring and downstream load control. Mode pins allow flexible device configuration between two current-limiting fault responses (latching off and automatic retry).
