This versatile housing (IP 65 optional) is ideal for a variety of remote control and mobility solutions, whether the device is connected by cable or powered by batteries (AAA, AA, 9V or 12V round batteries). It has proved particularly popular in the medical, health and industrial electronics sectors.
Accessories now include expansion mounts for charging and data transfer, ledges, track clips, ring holes, belt/pocket clips, tethers, and key rings. There is also a battery holder and contacts (both using 2 x AAA), battery clips (2 x N, 2 x AA, 2 x AAA), workstation contacts, plug in contacts (1 x 9V), IP 65 inlet protection seals, cable strain cancellation clips, and PCB self-tapping screws. The ergonomic design of the case provides maximum comfort for the user. Large operating areas recessed to accommodate film keyboards or product labels. Inside are fastening columns and fixing brackets for the PCB and components.
Available in four sizes, from XS (58mm x 35.6mm x 19mm) to XL (168mm x 74.4mm x 35.4mm). Size XS provides keyring holes. Sizes M, L, and XL are available with/without battery compartment, cable seal sleeve, and embedded top.The housing is molded from ABS or infrared transparent PMMA Plexiglas and has a flame retardant rating of UL 94 HB. The standard colors provided are beige (RAL 9002) or black (RAL 905). The case can be fully customized.
