RECOM RAC05-K/PD3/H is an on-board 5W Class II AC/DC converter series designed for "fixed installations" where higher levels of transients and increased environmental pollution levels are encountered according to overvoltage class III.
The nominal input is rated from 100VAC to 277VAC, but the parts will resist 480VAC without sustained damage. The series is intended for use in "pollution level 3" environments where contamination may conduct electricity if condensation occurs. The converter offers 5V, 12V or 15V single output and includes enhanced clearances to meet OVCIII heights up to 5000m.
The series is fully protected against short circuit and over voltage in the case of internal anomalies and conforms to EN 55032 Class B EMI emission levels (floating output) without the need for external components. No-load power consumption is less than 0.5W to meet ecological design directives. These units are in a 2 "x 1" x 1 "high package and can operate at 70C free air and 85C (12V part) with 40% derating. Certification includes IEC/EN 62368-1 and UL 61010-1.
