The OPB9000 is a reflective CMOS logic output sensor with programmable sensitivity, output polarity and drain selection. The self-calibration feature avoids the need to constantly recalibrate leds as they age, saving valuable time and effort. Designs using standard analog circuits can be very complex and require additional external components, which adds space and cost. The OPB9000 eliminates circuit complexity and reduces board space requirements by up to 80% through its fully integrated analog front end and digital interface. It combines an infrared emitter and integrated logic sensor in a miniature 4.0mm x 2.2mm x 1.5mm surface mount package.
