P-duke's RHKW/RHDW series are high performance DC-DC converters available now from Luso Electronics. This next-generation plate-mounted DC-DC converter is intended for use in demanding, rugged rail and other industrial applications where harsh conditions are common. 3000VAC enhanced isolation with 4.5mm clearance/creepage distance for safety-critical applications.
They offer an input range of 36-160VDC and feature over-voltage and under-voltage protection, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature protection circuits. And the series includes 3-40W DC-DC converters, single and dual output models in DIP24 (3-10W) or 2 "X1" (40W) packages.
The high dielectric strength plastic housing has high thermal conductivity comparable to the metal housing, provides isolation between input box outputs, and offers an operating temperature range of -40C to +105C. These high-density power converters are accomplished using patented transformer designs that allow converters to perform with efficiency up to 90%.
The products comply with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, EN 50155 and EN 45545-2 certification. The company's r&d designers also equipped these converters with internal EMI circuits :IEC/EN 55032 Class A and IEC/EN 50121-3-2, simplifying the design and saving PCB space.
