Texas Instruments has announced the ADS54J60 as the industry’s first 16-bit 1-GSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and the first to achieve over 70dBFS signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at 1-GSPS. The company has also announced the highest density four-channel 14-bit 500-MSPS ADC, the ADS54J54.

Developed using a small factor board, AS5047D includes the position sensor with its required external components. Linear Technology has introduced the LTC6268-10, a new series of single and dual LTC6269-10 4GHz FET-input op amps for high dynamic range and high speed transimpedance amplifier (TIA) applications. PIL has announced availability of its new P43 distance-measuring ultrasonic sensors. Applications include object recognition for agriculture and fluid levels, distance measuring for trucks and loading ramps, level sensing in dusty conditions, parking lot detection/barrier monitoring as well as a variety of other industrial and manufacturing applications. The PIL P43 ultrasonic sensors provides the industry’s greatest range – from 250mm to up to 6000mm, says the company.
